This initiative started with a sudden, creative spark.
After listening to a great books podcast, I was inspired to read one of the books they enthusiastically discussed. I couldn’t stop thinking of that specific episode’s role to get me to want to read the book. I started thinking, “that’s a great example of a podcast as a primer.” That little word stuck in my mind, so I decided to look it up in the dictionary. Although I knew the basic meaning of the word, I really didn’t know that it was a part of ammunition.
When thinking how the primer is the small part of ammunition that when struck by the firing pin explodes and ignited the gun powder, sending the bullet down range, I thought about creating a podcast (a site, really) that could provide brief insights and comments on topics of personal interest to me that might ignite others to want to go further, faster.
That’s how it all started.
